"The Congress of Vienna"
by Jean-Baptiste Isabey, 1819

Ludwik Lieberatzka
(1840- )

Ludwik Lieberatzka is the patriarch of the Liberacki family.

Ludwik Lieberatzka was born in 1840.

The Congress of Vienna (1813-1814) gave part of Poland to Russian and created a "Congress of Poland" for which Tsar Alexander installed as king. As a result of this arrangement, some of our Polish relatives were technically born in Russia.

In 1875, Ludwik was a peasant farmer living in Siestrzanki, Burzyn, Poland.

When he presented his day old son to Fr. Szczerbinski for Baptism, he was in the company of two other Siestrzanki farmers: Adam Oponski (age 50) and Tomasz Rogowski (age 53).
