Maria Dimingor is the first cousin once removed of Lorain Berg, Calvin R. Berg, and Karl Brunhofer.
Except for the name of her mother, little is known about Maria Dimingor. However, I assume that she lived her life in Germany.
During the 1870s, Otto von Bismarck (1815-1898) unified Germany. Mark Twain gave an American's view of Germany at the end of Bismarck's life when he published "Stirring Times in Austria" in the March 1898 issue of Harper's New Monthly Magazine (p. 530-540).
In America, reconstruction from the Civil War took place and the United States continued to grow westward.
